Popular Street Food In Ashok Vihar Delhi Just Another Quick Fix Story: KC Fast Food in Ashok Vihar Located real close to Lakshmi Bai College in Ashok Vihar, this eatery is probably the saving grace of those college folk. They serve mostly Indian Chinese fast food at student friendly prices. They even have the option of ordering half-size dishes on most of their items on the menu. Being the usual budget hole-in-the-wall joint, they have just two tables set up where a lucky few can eat with added luxury. The others just have to find somewhere else to sit or eat standing. By the way, they only serve vegetarian food so if you're looking for meat, head elsewhere. If you're eating there for the first time, here are a few safe bets that won't disappoint. Their Honey Chilly Potato is first on our list. They fry them well so that you're greeted with a crunch and just the right amount of sweetness from the honey with every bite and the fried onions and capsicum compliments it near perfectly. The serving is pretty big so order half a plate if you're not confident about your eating capacity. Spring Rolls is another item that they seem to make pretty damn well. Once again, the outer layer of this dish is fried just right to give you that slight crunchy feel that goes so well with the delish filling. To change things up, unlike other eateries, this one serves crispy chop suey on the side. The usual Coke or Pepsi fares well with these food items and at times even enhance the experience. If you're in the area and feel that demon of hunger waking within your belly, you know where to go. Food Truck Paradise: Eat at a parking lot in Sector 29 Evening comes and with it a transformation of a beautiful kind. In Leisure Valley in Sector 29, an empty parking lot is transformed into a haven for foodies. A whole bunch of food trucks assemble to feed the masses with a variety of delicacies served straight from their mobile kitchens. These include trucks with clever names such as Eggjactly, Sushi Mafir House and Waffle Chowk, to name a few. If you head there, expect items such as peanut butter waffles, butter chicken rolls, messy lamb burgers and crunchy salmon sushi, among others. Most of these food truck owners had different plans originally but financial constraints and rent issues led them to switch to the food truck business and they're glad they have done so. Most of them experiment with food and try to give the public a taste of something unique and at the same time affordable. In Delhi NCR, Gurgaon has the highest number of food trucks (73), most of which are in Sector 29 (52 out of the 73). Noida has around 42 food trucks, while Delhi has just 20. Most customers have become fans of food trucks because of their quick service, fresh ingredients and dishes that don't ever have a dearth in flavour. With the climate taking a turn for the better as summer begins to fade away, more of the public are able to step out for a walk and sales are expected to increase for the Food Truck business. However, with the monsoons rushing in, the rains might just affect their sales for the worse. Explore More: https://www.delhipedia.com/Home/Category/StreetFood
